Floraphage

Promotes optimal digestive and immune health by increasing probiotic activity.

Do you need probiotics? The answer is yes.

Do you ever experience occasional:

  • Diarrhea
  • Gas
  • Bloating

If you do, you probably need to support your microbiome by increasing the activity of probiotics, the good bacteria in your digestive system.

Floraphage is not a probiotic, but it has the ability to turn certain bacteria into high-quality prebiotic food for our beneficial bacteria to feed on.*

With Floraphage, your body will have the powerful probiotics it needs to heal and support proper immune health and intestinal balance. Get ready to live your life free from the effects of an intestinal imbalance.

 DIGESTIVE SUPPORT

Floraphage is a blend of bacteriophages developed to support the creation of beneficial bacteria throughout the digestive ecosystem. A bacteriophage, or simply phage, is a microscopic protein that reacts with specific bacteria in the gut. The resulting reaction of Floraphage with specific bacteria creates nutrients, known as prebiotics, for beneficial bacteria to consume. Prebiotics are consumed by our good bacteria to create an abundance of beneficial bacteria that can help maintain optimal digestive and immune health.

Phages, or bacteriophages, are everywhere. They’re in our food, in the water we drink, and even on and in our bodies. Phages are the most abundant, naturally occurring organisms on earth and have been safely used for over 90 years in the food supply. Floraphage is one of the first dietary supplement formulas to utilize these amazing microscopic proteins.

The benefits of Floraphage include:

  • Increases the potency of your probiotics
  • Prevents digestive discomfort
  • Can be taken alone or in combination with a probiotic
  • Starts working immediately

How Floraphage Works

At this moment, trillions of microorganisms are competing for space and nutrients in your digestive tract. Harmful bacteria are fighting against the good bacteria for their place in your gut. If the bad bacteria win the battle, the result is digestive discomfort and a weakened immune system. This is why it’s important for beneficial bacteria to be strong enough to fight harmful bacteria in order to achieve proper intestinal balance and optimal health.

Aggressive strains of unwanted bacteria can sometimes outgrow and consume more resources than beneficial bacteria. This can be caused by taking antibiotics, which kill both bad and good bacteria in the body, or from a bad diet and digestive issues you’re already dealing with. This results in poor overall health, abdominal discomfort, and possible flora imbalances. To combat these damaging effects, Floraphage was developed to support the restoration and maintenance of the highly sensitive digestive ecosystem.

 IMMUNE

Floraphage Supports Normal Urinary Tract Health

Many people experience occasional urinary discomfort, but contrary to popular belief, this common problem is not due to bad habits or poor hygiene. When we consume food that contains certain types of unwanted bacteria, our bodies are able to flush out these bacteria through the urinary tract, which sometimes causes uncomfortable symptoms. Floraphage supports comfortable urinary tract function.

Floraphage Efficacy Testing and Results

To determine whether Floraphage works, especially when combined with probiotic products, we conducted several laboratory tests. Floraphage was tested in conjunction with four popular probiotic supplements to determine its ability to increase the potency or growth of each respective product.

Each product was grown in a nutrient-rich broth to mimic normal digestive conditions, until each product’s bacteria reached a specified value using optical density (OD). OD measures the amount of light that is able to scatter through a mixture, which was used to verify that the bacteria for each product had started to grow.

Once each product reached an OD of .2, indicating that the bacteria were growing and no longer dormant, a one milliliter sampling of each product was grown with Floraphage and one was grown without (the control group). Each of the four tested products showed improvement when grown with Floraphage.

The average increase in colony forming unit (CFU) activity—which is the measurement of probiotic bacteria growth—for the four products was 2,400 percent versus the control (growth without the use of Floraphage). Overall, in this test sampling, Floraphage was able to increase the growth rate of these probiotic supplements by an average of 24 times compared with the control group.

These results show that Floraphage is an excellent product to take in conjunction with a probiotic to maximize the benefits of supplemented beneficial bacteria. It’s also helpful for those who don’t take probiotics in order to maximize indigenous probiotic growth.

INGREDIENTS

Floraphage is a combination of bacteriophages, which are microscopic proteins that attack a very specific type of bacteria. A phage is a tiny protein that is capable of improving the entire landscape of your digestive system.

SUGGESTED USE

Directions: Take one to two capsules daily with eight ounces of water or as directed by your healthcare provider.

Safety and efficacy: We consume bacteriophages every day. They have been utilized in agriculture for years as a gentle and non-toxic way to control the overgrowth of bacteria in crops. Floraphage is completely safe and has GRAS safety status with the FDA.

FAQS

What is Floraphage?

Floraphage is a bacteriophage, or phage, which is a microscopic protein that allows beneficial microflora to dominate the gastrointestinal tract. It reacts to specific bacteria species which result in releasing more phage and nutrients, known as prebiotics, for your good bacteria to feed on. The prebiotic qualities of Floraphage are not fiber or starch‐based.

Benefits of Floraphage include:

  • Works when taken in small doses (15mg) within hours (not days)

  • Functions in both the small and large intestines

  • Supports urinary tract health

  • Does not cause flatulence like other prebiotics

  • Withstands varying gut environments

  • Works with supplemental and naturally occurring probiotic species.

How does Floraphage work?

Floraphage creates space and nutrients in the gastrointestinal tract by reacting to bacteria within the gut. The nutrients created by Floraphage are then utilized by probiotics for substantial growth within the environment. This allows Floraphage to restore the optimal balance of flora within the sensitive digestive ecosystem.

Which probiotic product was tested with Floraphage?

Along with three competitors, Arthur Andrew Medical’s probiotic-containing product, Syntol, showed significant growth when combined with Floraphage than compared to growth without Floraphage.

Which probiotic strains were tested with Floraphage?

The following bacteria showed significant growth when combined with Floraphage compared to growth without Floraphage:

  • B. bifidum
  • B. breve
  • B. animalis
  • B. longum
  • L. acidophilus
  • L. paracasei
  • L. casei
  • L. rhamnosus
  • Lc. lactis
  • B. subtilis

When is the best time to take Floraphage?

Floraphage can be taken at any time, with or without food. Phage are not nearly as susceptible to acid and temperature changes as probiotic organisms. Based on this fact, we recommend taking the product whenever it's most convenient for you.

Can I take Floraphage with other supplements?

Floraphage can be taken with other supplements. We have not seen any adverse reactions with Floraphage, either on its own or in combination with other supplements.

How long does it take for Floraphage to work?

Everybody is different, but according to our in vitro testing, Floraphage should start working within hours of the first dose. However, benefits that can be "felt" will likely take anywhere from three to four weeks. Some may experience immediate benefits, while others may take longer, but its value to one's health is far-reaching from its onset of use.

Is Floraphage Kosher?

Floraphage is currently not certified as Kosher. However, a copy of the allergen report can be DOWNLOADED HERE.

Is Floraphage vegetarian or vegan?

The formula is vegetarian and vegan in accordance with the guidelines of the AMERICAN VEGETARIAN ASSOCIATION.

Is Floraphage non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organism)?

Yes, Floraphage is non-GMO. The microorganisms used to produce this enzyme product are not genetically engineered organisms as defined by the NATIONAL ORGANIC STANDARDS BOARD. Genetically engineered is defined as follows: Made with techniques that alter the molecular or cellular biology of an organism by means that are not possible under natural conditions or processes.
