Hormone Combination - formulated to provide relief from menstrual and cyclic related symptoms including emotional swings, depression, headache, irritability, cravings and fluid retention. A Source of Relief for PMS In 1983 a medical doctor, D.W. Remington, and his associate, Robert Gardner, Ph.D., began researching hormone supplements attempting to determine and solve the underlying causes of PMS. They administered serial dilutions of Estrogen and Progesterone sublingually. These were found to neutralize PMS and other cyclical symptoms. Why it Works At first, it was assumed that the right concentration of the combined hormones somehow stopped or shut off an inappropriate immune response to the hormone. A double-blind study was performed using tryptophan (an amino acid), nicotinamide (a B vitamin), imipramine or a tryptophan-nicotinamide-imipramine.
